The old Jewish Cemetery in Fürth has been used by the Jewish community since 1606 and is thus one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in the region. The tour leads through an otherwise inaccessible spacious burial ground where time seems to stand still. Jewish funeral and mourning rituals are just as much the focus as important personalities buried here and the over 400 year old history of the community.
